Teak Wood This wood comes from species Tectona Grandis, belonging to the family Verbenaceae. It comes from Burma, Thailand and Indonesia. It is characterized as very strong and durable due to oily substances that compose it. Its color is yellow or gold, but they often get darker with a natural treatment also drawn on this tree, teak oil. This is a very fine wood and easy to work, solid, dense fiber. It is resistant to moisture without requiring paint or varnish. Wood bankirai (Parashorea) It has its origin in Southeast Asia. Among the advantages we can say that does not require much maintenance, it can also be treated with special oils and so you have more durability. We recommend you cover it during winter. Rattan wood (synthetic) These furnishings are made from synthetic fibers that are stretched around a metal frame. It is characterized by its durability and resistance to climatic changes and sunlight. The advantage is that this type of fiber does not require any special treatment and cleaned only using a brush, soap and water. You can leave during the winter outdoors. Nyatoh or Balau Wood The nyatoh wood comes from Malaysia and Indonesia. Their color is in the range from pink to brown. The wood is of medium hardness. You can enhance the color and brightness is advisable to lightly sand the surface and then put some linseed oil. For her it's best to maintain a regular treatment with oil, which ensures a longer life. For it must be kept in a dry store in the winter. Another way to preserve this by applying a impregnating wood once a year.
